 StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability Control System assists the driver in maintaining vehicle control in sudden maneuvers, particularly in low-traction conditions, such as emergency lane changes and during avoidance maneuvers. If the system determines the vehicle is not responding appropriately, StabiliTrak slows the vehicle and helps the driver bring it back to the path being steered. The StabiliTrak® System is an advanced computer controlled system that can help the driver maintain directional control of the vehicle in difficult driving conditions. This is accomplished by using input from vehicle motion sensors and the steering wheel position to selectively apply any one of the vehicle's brakes and, if necessary reduce engine power. When the system activates, a Stability Active light or message may turn on. This is normal operation. If the system detects a problem, the Stability Disabled or Service Stability light or message will be displayed. If the light or message remains on, even after pressing the Traction/Stability selector button, your vehicle may require service. That information will also be sent in your OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics email to alert you that service may be needed.
 Chevrolet owners are expected to use OnStar’s Spanish-speaking advisor team more in 2017 than any previous year. OnStar has provided Chevrolet owners with a dedicated Spanish language team for more than 10 years to help with everything from directions to emergency services. Last year, more than 1,000 Spanish-speaking Chevrolet drivers pushed the blue OnStar button in the United States every single day, an increase of 30 percent from 2013. Chevrolet already has seen nearly 100,000 blue button presses in the first quarter of 2017 and expects these numbers will continue to climb in 2017.
“We understand that not all Chevrolet owners speak English fluently or at all, but we didn’t want that to be an obstacle in providing them with the same service we offer all OnStar customers,” said Terry Inch, executive director of GM’s Global Connected Customer Experience. “As a result, OnStar has a dedicated team of advisors who can help Spanish-speaking customers keep safe, connected and ready for the road ahead.” May this Easter bring your Family together for a great celebration filled with lots of joy, happiness and of course chocolate!

 Chevy introduced a new special edition for the Tahoe and Suburban: the street-performance Rally Sport Truck, or RST. The Tahoe RST will also be available with a new Performance Package that includes a 420-hp, 6.2L V-8 engine; Magnetic Ride Control with performance calibration; and an all-new Hydra-Matic 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission.
“Chevrolet has continually invested in Tahoe and Suburban, developing models with varying combinations of capability, technology and performance to meet the needs of different customers,” said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet Truck Marketing director. “The RST is designed for customers who want a street performance look without sacrificing capability or refinement, along with the option of increased performance as well.” RST will be available on Tahoe and Suburban models in the fall of 2017. Inspired by aftermarket trends, virtually all chrome trim has been eliminated for a street performance appearance. Changes include body-color grille surround and door handles; gloss-black grille and mirror caps; black roof rails, window trim, badging and Chevy bowties.
