The Chevrolet Volt has been named the best gas-powered vehicle on the market since 1984 by President Obama and the White House. The list can be seen at fueleconomy.gov. The Volt can travel 35 miles on a single electric charge before it starts using any gasoline. The overall EPA rating is 60 mpg.

Courtesy Chevrolet’s Black Friday Sale will be held Friday, Nov. 25. Back by popular demand, Courtesy will be giving away cars to customers who purchase new Courtesy Chevrolets.

Courtesy Chevrolet of Phoenix will be holding its second annual Black Friday Sale the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 25, at their dealership located at 1233 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix. One of our own employee's had his Sonic partially wrapped yesterday. Below are a few pictures, both before and after. As you can see it transforms the vehicle to a much more stylish and eye catching vehicle. The process only took about 2 hours to install. The installation was completed outside in the sun and everyone at Courtesy Chevrolet came out to view the process and see what it would look like when it was done.

The comments were overwhelmingly and positive with many saying it looks like a completely different car.

Well, here we are. One hundred years of building, driving and living our passion for cars. And not just us—the entire Chevy family. We've seen a lot of Chevrolets over the last century. And it got us thinking, is there a number one?

In 2011 alone, the Volt won 2011 North American Car of the Year, Green Car Journal's Car of the Year®, and AUTOMOBILE Magazine's Automobile of the Year.

Chevrolet's small cars stole the spotlight at the 2011 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show. The industry only event saw four Specs of the Chevy Sonic and two of the already popular Cruze. Chevy's small car approach is proving that performance can come in all shapes and sizes, said Chris Perry, vice president, global marketing and strategy for Chevrolet. “The heritage of Chevrolet cars like the Corvette and Camaro is being expressed in smaller packages for the next generation.”

Chevrolet is investing $275 million into the Silverado which is manufactured in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The move is expected to bring or retain 150 jobs at the factory which already employs 3,400 people. “This investment will allow us to continue building award-winning pickups that offer better fuel efficiency than ever before without sacrificing features and functionality,” said Larry Zahner, GM manufacturing manager.
