The public is invited to learn about the revolutionary Chevy Volt. The Chevy Volt is the indus- try’s first electric vehicle with extended-range capability.

Courtesy Chevrolet – the No. 1 Volt dealer in Arizona – will host the Chevy Volt Tour Team during its 4-day stopover Nov. 6 through 9 in Phoenix as part of a select, 6-city tour. Current Volt owners, the public, and interested Volt buyers are invited to stop by Courtesy Chevrolet for informative Volt owner clinics, Volt test drives, and complimentary food and drinks from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 7. Five Volts will be available at Courtesy Chevrolet during the event, along with a team of Volt experts that will answer any questions drivers may have. Current Volt owners will have an opportunity to review their Volts, and drivers with an interest in electric vehicles are encouraged to attend Nov. 7 at Courtesy Chevrolet, 1233 E. Camelback Rd. in Phoenix.

The Chevrolet Volt is the industry’s first electric vehicle with extended-range capability. It can operate under a range of weather climates and driving conditions without depleting its battery. For the first 40 miles, the Volt drives gas- and tailpipe-emissions-free using electricity stored in its 16-kWh lithium-ion battery. When the Volt’s battery runs low, a gas powered range-extending engine/generator seam- lessly operates to extend the driving range another 300 miles on a full tank.

The Chevrolet Volt comes standard with a 120-volt charge cord that will provide owners with the abil- ity to charge their Volt directly from a standard home electrical outlet.
