Right now, we offer the stylishly impressive Chevy Volt and Bolt models that are both full electric cars. No need to visit the gas station anymore – just plug-in, charge and GO!
Drive the best of both worlds
The 2018 Volt offers up to 53 pure electric miles and up to 420 miles with a full charge and a full tank of gas. This gives you the peace of mind to go as far as you want. Plus, the athletic design, impressive performance and intelligent driving technology make for a superb driving experience.
Combining smarts with power, Volt goes from 0 to 60 in 8.4 seconds. Give credit to its 1.5L direct injected high-efficiency engine and two electric motors. It runs on an electric charge and generates additional energy through a gas-powered generator when the battery runs out —giving you the confidence to go as far as you want. It’s elegant, electric power that’s unstoppable.
Up to 53-mile battery range
The average daily commute is only about 40 miles round trip. That means Volt offers enough battery range to make it from home to work, with range to spare for errands in between.
Up to 420 miles of total range with a full charge
Not sure if 53 miles is enough for your daily commute? Volt has a backup plan. If you go over 53 miles, Volt intuitively and seamlessly switches over to use gas as energy to extend your range, giving you the peace of mind to go hundreds of miles further.
1,100 miles between fill-ups
Chevy expects owners will drive over 1,100 miles† between fill-ups by charging regularly. This means weekly stops at the gas station could be a thing of the past, giving you the confidence to go as far as you want.
REGEN ON DEMAND
With a simple pull of the paddle on your steering wheel, you’re able to slow down without using the actual brake pedal. This helps convert energy into more electricity and then transfers it back to the battery. Of course, you should still use the brake pedal if you need to stop immediately.
Want to know where you’re using the most energy or how much charge you have left in the battery? All of that valuable real-time information is housed on the color touch-screen and Driver Information Center behind the steering wheel.
The available 240-volt charging unit can be professionally installed to fully recharge the battery in about 4.5 hours. There is also an included 120-volt portable charge cord that will charge the battery in approximately 13 hours.
Based on GPS data, a programmable “home” setting for charging allows you to take advantage of off-peak electricity rates when you’re plugged in at home. This setting will also allow Volt to immediately charge when plugging in away from home.
Volt features 10 air bags and smart sensors designed to adjust frontal air bag inflation according to the severity of a crash.
When the air bags deploy built-in sensors can automatically alert OnStar and a readily available advisor will connect to your vehicle to provide assistance. Even if you don’t respond, an OnStar Advisor can use GPS technology to pinpoint your exact location and request that emergency help is sent right away.
Chevy Bolt EV
Every reason to drive electric
An impressive EPA-estimated 238 miles of range. A beautifully sculpted exterior and spacious interior. With thousands of excited owners and millions of miles driven, Bolt EV has completely reinvented what an electric vehicle can be.
Some days are long. Your range is too.
Not sure how far an EPA-estimated 238 miles will get you? Think about it this way: The average daily commute is only about 40 miles round trip. So you’ll have more than enough range to get through an average day – and you could go up to three or four days, or even more, without needing to plug in.
REGEN ON DEMAND
With just a simple pull of the paddle on your steering wheel, you’re able to slow down without using the actual brake pedal. This helps convert energy into more electricity and then transfers it back to the battery.
Instead of losing energy when slowing down, this feature helps you transfer energy to the battery. It works like this: When driving in Low mode at any speed, you can slow down – or even come to a complete stop – by simply lifting your foot off the accelerator. This means you may use your brakes less and help increase your range. One-Pedal Driving and deceleration features may be limited when the battery is near full charge or cold. You should always use your brake pedal if you need to stop quickly. See owner’s manual for full details on One-Pedal Driving and Regen on Demand.
ELECTRONIC PRECISION SHIFT
Allows you to easily and electronically select gears, while providing a smooth and precise response. So there’s no clunky shifter, which creates more open front passenger space.
Charging is as easy as plugging in your cell phone
The great thing about Bolt EV is you can top off your battery as much or as little as you like. Or you can simply plug in at night and by the morning it’s charged up and ready to go. Without thinking, plugging in could become a part of your daily routine.
